That
sums up the philosophy at the Red Lion, over
200 delicious bins to choose from encapsulating
the world's viticulture into one ever growing
list. From boutique wineries to the major regions
of the globe, it's all here in 'Sibbertoft'.
Everything
is priced to sell; we have not only the biggest
list for 25 miles in any direction but also
the most competitive. The wines are priced using
a simple cash mark-up so most tables will have
2 bottles. We also sell the wines at a take
out price as this increases our buying power
and for the consumer cuts out any "guessing"
in the local supermarket for what may or may
not be any good.
If
the vintage changes then the wine is re-evaluated
against like for like comparisons to make sure
we have the best wine at the best price from
our 15 suppliers.
Now
we are concentrating on our wine dinners so
customers can hear straight from the wine maker
in person at a fun and informative evening.
