The
giant wine bottle outside proclaims ‘TOP
FOOD, TOP WINES, AT PUB PRICES!’ And who
could argue? The contemporary style restaurant
is a little piece of London in ‘The Sticks’.
Whilst the bar still holds its’ charm
and convivial buzzy atmosphere.
The
monthly changing menu is served in both areas
and is obviously created from as much local
and seasonal produce as possible. The Game is
shot on the farm next to Sibbertoft, whilst
the British Beef are reared in the surrounding
areas and butchered in the next village. Everyone
in the area uses ‘Joseph Morris Butchers’
and every Saturday morning he has a queue outside
his village shop.
Enthusiastic
and knowledgeable staff help create a dining
experience for all our customers. It’s
not enough now a days to have Chefs and Waiters
who just do their own thing. People like to
know about the organic ingredients or if the
asparagus was still growing an hour ago. My
last Head Waiter, Chris Peck, was runner-up
in ‘Young Waiter of the Year’ and
has now gone on to be Head Waiter at Gleneagles
Hotel says Andrew.
